Welcome to Mainiac Racing & Sim Gaming

 

We are glad that you have chosen one of the cleanest & most friendly NR2003 Racing Leagues.

Our 17 year Nascar Game & 9 year experience in Sim League Racing will provide you with a clean & fun sim racing environment....We are all about friendly,clean competition ! 

 

Participation will require a copy of the "NASCAR Racing 2003 Game", the patches for the game, and all of the MRSG mods and tracks that we use.

You will also need the following...

 1. Steering Wheel / Pedals...NO GAME CONTROLLERS  &  NO KEYBOARD RACER'S ALLOWED!

 2. Speakers & Microphone or Headset combo.

 3. TEAMSPEAK-3..Communication program. It's FREE to download & use.

 4.  WINrar or Equal file compression program.

Rule's Foreword

​

1. All driver's in a League Series Race MUST be in  TEAMSPEAK-3 for communication purposes.
 

2. All driver's must follow the rule's or be subject to penalties by the Administration.

3. All driver's MUST use their REAL NAME'S at all times, that is in Registering, The Game & Teamspeak.

4. All driver's must come prepared to race having the correct mods, tracks, car file's, Teamspeak, etc. 

5. We like to start every race on our Scheduled Time's, However we will sometimes wait for driver's to clear any issue's they may be having.We will wait ONLY 15min past our scheduled start time at any race, unless a prior request is made 24hrs in advance...We will then only wait 30min.

GENERAL RACING RULE'S

​

1. RACE CLEAN-Race like a Real Racer, use your F2 key to see where drivers are, use Teamspeak to communicate with drivers, Race Clean, Race Courteous, Race Forever!

2. PASSING-Watch other drivers and how they drive BEFORE PASSING. Communication is always good to pass clean.

3. BUMP DRAFTING-Is Prohibited in any turn...We suggest not bump drafting at all!

If you do make sure it's on a straightaway and your drafting partner knows to be prepared and not wreck an entire field.

4. TEMPER'S-Keep your cool at all times. We will not put up with Wreckless Driving, Retaliation, Out Burst's, Excessive Cursing, etc.

5. Anything that is detrimental to the league. ie over aggressive driving, excessive blocking, flaming of another driver and/or league in public or private, poor sportsmanship, etc. This rule will carry a harsh penalty, from ,but not limited to a black flag, parked from a race, parked for a week, or getting suspended from the league.

WARPING

​

1. Driver's with internet issues making you warp In & Out, Disappear, Or Take up multiple lanes...PLEASE BE EXTRA CAUTIOUS.

2. You may race but must NOT QUALIFY and start at the rear of the field.

3. If your connection gets to bad or you cause issues on the track you'll be ask to leave for that race.

PRACTICE & HAPPY HOUR

​

1. Practice like a Real Racer, Do Not purposely wreck people...You will be ejected.

2. Do not stop or sit on the racing surface at ANYTIME. Pull off the track to go to your garage or exit.

3. Work on your set-up if need be. Always remember others are in practice to better there set-ups. Be Thoughtful.

4. Keep talking Mostly Race Related to the game and current event.

QUALIFYING

​

1. HANDLING & QUALITY-If you are having trouble with a track, running low times/speeds OR have quality ( WARP ) issues you Can't Qualify on that track & particular race. This gives courtesy to other driver's  that have no issues & are running consistent fast laps. The next race things might be better.

2. TALKING-No Talking during the Entire Qualifying Session PLEASE!

START'S--RESTART'S--CAUTION'S--PITTING &PACING

​

1. ALL PACING LAPS-Give a little room from the car ahead of you & Do Not Pass, we don't race under Pacing or Caution's. Keep a distance of about 0.2 - 0.3 from the car in front of you under Pacing & Cautions.

2. RE-STARTS / LAST TURN BEFORE GREEN FLIES-Be Quiet, Everyone keep a steady pace and give room for start line mishaps.. Missed gears, Tire Spins, etc.

3. GREEN FLAG-DO NOT PASS ANY CAR before YOU cross the start/finish line. Your entire car must pass the Start line before you pass any car when a Green Flag is Dropped. The only exception is passing a car that has broken or missed a gear or something of that nature.

4. CAUTION'S-WE RACE BACK TO THE LINE UNDER CAUTIONS...Get to a safe speed to drive around any wrecked cars & Try not to hit them.

4a. Cross the finish line then gradually start slowing down to pace speed or where ever the pace car is on the track.

4b. Do Not wreck anyone under caution you will receive penalties for that action.

5. PITTING-Please notify any time your pitting either by game chat or Teamspeak, NO PIT FAKING there is no need for this & sometimes can cause problems. Do Not wreck anyone in the pits you will receive penalties for that action.

6. No brake checking, wrecking, hanging back to get a run or any other abnormal race behavior at ANYTIME.

BLOCKING

​

1. Blocking is allowed ON THE LAST 2 LAPS OF ANY EVENT.

2. Just remember your taking a chance of wrecking yourself & others !

3. Blocking is hard to call as we run so close together but must be looked at from time to time, VERY CAREFULLY!

4. BLOCKING is classified by a tailing car pulling out to pass a car & the leading car jumps in front of the passing car blocking that lane.

5. EXCESSIVE OR EXTREME BLOCKING is classified by repeated blocks OR Multi lane jumping to block.

6. If it looks evident the blocking car will get a -5pt penalty PER BLOCK

LAPPED & DAMAGED CAR'S

​

1. All lapped & damaged cars { Cars off the Pace } MUST enter pit road under ALL CAUTIONS on the LAST lap of caution-Usually 2nd. This is to help ensure the lead lap & undamaged cars get a good clean restart & Mandatory to receive the Lucky Dog.

3 AND 3 RULE

​

1. If you Self Spin during a Race (By Yourself and Hit No one) 3 Times & Bring Out Cautions OR cause 3 Wreck's in a Race you will be asked to park for that race. If you do not park we'll park the car for you.

LUCKY DOG

​

1. If you are the 1st driver 1 or more laps down YOU ARE THE LUCKY DOG.

2. You can only get a lap back under caution. You will not get a lap back if caution flies within the last 10 laps of any race.

3. If you are the Lucky Dog, notify an Admin your car # & your Lucky Dog. We will always keep our eye open but sometimes while racing we may miss you. Make sure you let us know when the caution flies. It's your responsibility to know if your the Lucky Dog.

4. At that time you will go into the pits on the LAST lap of caution-Usually 2nd & speed down pit road --{5mph will do}-- and you will receive End Of Longest Line Penalty { EOLL } and start at the end of the field. When the green flag waves you will get scored +1 lap back.

BLACK FLAG'S

​

1. BLACK FLAG'S will be given for unruly racing behavior. If you are given a 2nd BLACK FLAG you will just be removed from the race.

2. We WILL NOT clear Black Flags given by the game, You must serve the penalty. PLEASE Don't Ask!

THE ADMINISTRATION OF MAINIAC RACING & SIM GAMING RESERVE'S THE RIGHT TO CHANGE/ADD RULE'S AS NEEDED WITHOUT NOTICE.

ALSO TO GIVE ANY TYPE OF PENALTY FOR BREAKING ANY RULE LISTED ABOVE.

THIS INCLUDES GIVING BLACK FLAGS,POINT'S DEDUCTION'S,EJECTED FROM A RACE,PERMANENTLY BANNED OR WHATEVER ACTION MAY BE NEEDED.
